  1. it is the game of politics, it goes both ways, right and left, you know that i do avoid getting into this things, but lately i just see politics things in your blog, and one post was quite good actually since at least you said the truth wich basically you said that others that don´t think like you they piss you off, that was the post that I read

i really love how you write, your poetry, but you should also be more tolerant, and if remember correctly you do have a son in the Marines, wiich is neither here or there, but the “kid” does contribute in a Little way ( you know I was in the Spanish Legion and deployed) for you to make these type of statements, contribute in the sense that if you didn´t have in the U.S (in Spain is different) guys like your son it would be difficult for you to be free, maybe or probably your son disagrees with this comment, we both are military and we both are people meaning that we will disagree, but in my humble opinión, and I do love your writing, but when you get all political, and I know is passion, but at least try to not be all that hateful.
Still love ya though, your writing I mean, whe is not all that political..

    • I understand you sentiment completely. I honestly am a supporter of the military, they are doing a difficult job and have allowed us to keep our freedoms. With that being said, what I do have a problem with is politicians that use our military under the guise of keeping us free to line their own pockets and those of the corporations that support them. We saw this in Iraq with our then Vice President Dick Cheney and the corporations he was associated with namely Halliburton and Kellogg, Brown and Root (KBR). Cheney was the Chairman and CEO of Halliburton in 2000 so if that is not a conflict of interest I don’t know what is. These companies had very lucrative contracts providing them with tremendous profits at the expense of our young men and women in uniform.

As for the my intolerance, you are right I need to be more tolerant. I do however, have a problem specifically with the “Rights” constant war mongering. It seems as though their solution to everything is to kill whatever they don’t like (or understand). This makes no sense to me. In the past diplomacy was used instead of war. War was always the absolute last resort. It seems to me that the biggest part of our problem is that we constantly stick our nose into things that we shouldn’t. As bad as Saddam was, we at one time supported him and then when we had no use for him conquered his country and hunted him down. Now look at the mess we’ve left behind. How often have we seen opposition forces that we have backed turn on us, it happened in Iraq and now I fear that is will happen once again in Syria. In addition, I firmly believe that ISIS has come about because of our foreign policy decisions in the Middle East. Sadly, in the end who pays the ultimate price…our military.

There are other things that I vehemently disagree with them on, but this is a big one for me. I respect your service to your country Charly and that of our military members more than you will ever know, but I cannot standby and watch them being abused for the sake of greed and oil which ultimately is what this is all about.

Thank you for the really thoughtful comment my friend, I appreciate it very much.
