    • Thank you William I do have a very long memory and sadly I find myself having been a supporter of his, not so wise. Yes I realize that it was not all his fault there were others on the opposite side after him that are just as culpable, but he started our slide into what I fear is oblivion if we don’t do something to radically change American politics.

      • Changes are necessary Dom. Your memory is long, but maybe you cut yourself short when thinking on the Impact of All of our past leaders. As a government we are the least experienced in the world. Even though many leaders rise and fall around the world , the territory controlled is essentially the same. Two hundred and fifty odd years is less than the supposed age of some rather ancient peoples! I realize that tremendous change will come and many will suffer, but also many will prosper. The Aztecs and before them the Mayans built cities whose remains are ten and twenty fold the age of our government. Houses exist in Europe and in Asia that by far predate our short tenure of pastoring our country. The nature of our beast is the incessant clamoring of the people for changes to be made in a single lifetime, when before those changes took thousands of generations to come. Technology has become a super modifier in the race for communications vs weapons and relatively soon I could accept a worldwide situation that is much less polarized than at present, but I do not expect that I or even my grandson will live to see it. A generation is only a flash in the eye of god and time and eternity! Thank you, Dom. ๐Ÿ™‚

      • My answer was not intende to denigrate your point of view, Dom, but only accentuate into the historical ledger. Your ideas are my pleasure to read, and obviously, motivate me to reach deeper into my mind to recall why this made sense to me! ๐Ÿ™‚

      • Thank you William. First off, I apologize for getting back to you so late. I did not take any offense at all to your comment at all, heck I am getting old an do find that my memory is long, in fact I’m getting to the point where I appreciate just being able to remember anything at all. ๐Ÿ™‚ Thank you again for your nice comment, I really do appreciate you taking the time to write them. Be well my friend.

      • I enjoy reading all the blogs I can fit in and all for different reasons. The reasons do not matter, it is the part of the soul that is revealed in the writing. We all have different reasons for reaching out and expressing our thoughts to the world. If ever I question an outlook from anyone , it is only so that I might learn something I had missed in the initial reading! Blog on, my friend! WLO ๐Ÿ™‚

      • Thank you my friend, we all can learn something from one another if we could just stay quiet for a moment and listen. We don’t have to agree, but we can at least appreciate the other persons perspective. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Hello my friend. I have been taking a bit of a break to recharge my batteries. I was tired and unmotivated so I decided it was time to step back for just a bit, but I’m slowly coming back. Thank you for asking and I hope that you have been well.
